Building my first PLEX/NAS

I'm looking to build my first NAS/PLEX server. I'm first going to try how plex works out for me and if that won't work I'll install Freenas and use XBMC, but after looking at some builds and guides I'm pretty confused what kind of CPU I need. Plex says 2000Pasmark score for 1 stream and I have 2 family members so I need to be able to stream 3 at a time. But now I don't know if you should get an G3258 (I saw those in a lot of builds but they're meant for overclocking and I don't think overclocking a server that needs to be reliable is smart), i3 or AMD Athlon X4 860K. So I was wondering what you guys would recommend me for a PLEX server (and maybe if I don't need plex anymore NAS).

You can get a PLEX plugin for FreeNAS, so you can have a plex server AND storage, that is what I use.

please refer to this before you run out there and buy yourself a nas that won't transcode and good luck with your project!
