No custom widgets available

I installed the Google now launcher and now I don't have a clock widget.This is really bothering me cause I have bad eyes and can't see the small text for thetime on the top of the screen on my LG G2. No other widgets are in the widgets drawer either, only stock google ones. I've tried installing apps to get wigets but they don't show up either.
