Hey guys so i need a litle help.

I have a netgear 8 port gigabit switch model number GS308-100UKS.

What i want to do is put my 2 nas boxes in the spear bedroom out the way as right now they are next to the radiator in a cubed i made (i know its not the best place). My set up right now is i have my modem and router downstairs then i have a eathernet cable running though the sealing to my room which goes to a gigabit switch. Now my plan is to run a 25m eathernet cable from the switch in my room into the attic and down into the spare bedroom then put another switch on that cable then hook up both my nas to that switch but would that work??

Yes you can daisy-chain switches.

Just keep in mind that you'll bottle neck the connection to the two NAS boxes to one gigabit because of the single cable connecting the two switches.

If possible run two cables between the switches to give better bandwidth although that's personal preference. Careful of switch loop, I forgot about this for unmanaged switches, if you have a managed switches use 2 cables if it's supported,

I think it's about 125 MB/s when converted from bits for a gigabit connection, depending on the intended use you may find running both on one gigabit unsuitable.

Hope that helps.
