Some help with steam/skyrim

Go to solution Solved by Jerakl,

I just unsubbed from them all.

Oh well.

So I got all my skyrim mods and I need to update the list of TES5Edit so I can test which mod is crashing me at main menu. Still following? Read on.

Now, when I launch the default launcher it instantly starts downloading all my subscribed mods from workshop on steam. I don't want this.

It's been a problem in the past for similar circumstances. I have no idea if you can disable it or not. Ideas?

Any help would be appreciated!

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

when you go into the skyrim launcher mod parts you can check which mods are from the workshop cause they'll say Subscribed. Uncheck em. The rest are from other sites. Also, how come you aint using SKSE?

I'd definitely recommend SKSE for sure. OP, do you use SkyUI?

That's not the point of the post.

@firearm212 I don't want them even downloaded. I don't want them on my PC. I don't want them in my game data.

Just unsubscribe from all your steam workshop mods if you get your mods from somewhere else

But I might want to use them for future reference...

You do realize you can just favourite the mod? It's on the mods main page in the workshop under the image, favourite the mod and unsubscribe. That way the mods won't download AND you can reference them later! Win, WIn! And to remove them, I have no idea. Never used Workshop for mods. Nexus is that much better imo.

I don't use them anymore. Now I just use MO and Nexus.
