Ubuntu Mouse Angle Snapping?

I just got Ubuntu, and so far it seems pretty good, except for one thing, the trackpad integration is terrible.  The mouse acceleration was absolutely horrid, but luckily I figured out how to turn that off, but now I need to know how to get rid of the angle snapping.  Does anybody know how to disable this?  I appreciate any feedback.
