I plan on getting a mobo, but I need a little help deciding. The cpu I will use is the FX 9590 Black Edition. I prefer 8 slots of DDR4 ram. I want 4 gpu slots and the socket has to be AM3+. Thanks for your suggestions!

The only motherboards with 8 DDR4 slots are X99 motherboards. There are none on AM3+

What is the purpose of this machine? An FX-9590 gets outclassed in every category by the i7-4790k, and even more so once overclocking is taken into account. It may look like the FX is cheaper, but when you factor in the super expensive MoBo/Cooler required to run that thing, the i7-4790k is similarly priced and performs better.

This performs worse:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD FX-9590 4.7GHz 8-Core Processor  ($299.98 @ NCIX US)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Nepton 240M 76.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($103.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard  ($109.99 @ Micro Center) (and TBH this is kind of pushing it as you might want something beefier/more expensive)
Total: $513.96

Than this:

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($28.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Asus Z97-E ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($94.99 @ NCIX US)

in every way, despite being more expensive, and the Intel CPU can get pushed a little further still with a different cooler, although it's not necessary unlike in the FX-9590's case.

you don't need 4 GPU slots for a CPU than can't even properly feed a single high-end card in games...get a intel i7-4790K and a Z97 motherboard.

Haha, I didn't even see that. Also, 4 GPUs will just scale poorly. 2 is the max I'd ever do, and if you really want 3 you should step up to an i7-5820k as the 4790k only has like 16 PCIE lanes, so without a PLX chip you're screwed. Since PLX chips are expensive, you might as well spend the money on an X99 setup instead, but really for gaming, 3 GPU setups are quite ridiculous unless you just have insane amounts of money to burn.
