i Bought a Z97 gigabyte but i  still havent got money for an i7 or an i5 high end procesor.

my question is should i buy a 4th gen procesor?

OR just wait for the release of the new broadwell chipset?
and for the meantime buy a pentuim aniv edition and overclock it and wait when the 5th gen comes out?

Thanks

Broadwell will not have a huge gain in CPU power (I am not sure on the %) because it will focus more on the IGPU. --(Correct me if I am wrong on this)

I think you should save money and get an i5/i7 (4th gen) - it is up to you

CPU: i5 4670k @ 3.4GHz + Corsair H100i      GPU: Gigabyte GTX 680 SOC (+215 Core|+162 Mem)     SSD: Kingston V300 240GB (OS)      Headset: Logitech G930

Case: Cosair Vengance C70 (white)                RAM: 16GB TeamGroup Elite Black DDR3 1600MHz       HDD: 1TB WD Blue                              Mouse: Logitech G602

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium                       PSUXFX Core Edition 750w                                                Motherboard: MSI Z97-G45               Keyboard: Logitech G510

As far as I can tell you are correct.  There are seeing gains of around 4-5% in performance on Broadwall vs Haswell. If this is for gaming (i.e. you are getting a solid discrete gpu)  the integrated won't matter much.

The only big change is efficiency and power consumption.  Which again usually does not matter too much with gaming in mind. (Except on laptops.)

I don't know what the actual release date of the desktop Broadwell CPUs is, but you are getting a solid chip whether you go Haswell or Broadwell.
