CPU Fan/Overheating Error

Go to solution Solved by thekeemo,

the temp goes (idle) from 50 degrees on boot to 75 and up and then I turn my pc off before it goes higher

yup sounds like a pump issue

Hi,

tonight I turned on my pc and I got a CPU Fan and Overheating error message off boot. The fan does spin up. Ive read other places that this would be a broken pump on my cpu cooler. would this be true for me?

CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken X31

CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1231 v3

Mobo: Asus Maximus vii gene.

Thanks in advance.
