I have all the parts I **need** for my new build. However I have recently ordered a manufacturer refurb H100 for the baller (am I allowed to use this or does linus have it trademarked lol) price of £40 (60 USD roughly).

 

This however will not arrive for possibly 2 weeks. I could use the stock cooler that came with my intel 3570k but then I would have to clean the CPU and install the H100 when it arrives and I'm lazy.

 

But I wana play with the new stuff (imagine this sentence in the tone of a 5 year old wanting to play with Christmas presents early).

 

So the question is do I set everything up now with the stock cooler and clean it later (I bought articlean just in case) and install the H100 or wait for the H100 as I do have a PC at the moment so I'm not missing anything.

Use it if you want to use it, and if you're willing to wait, then wait for the cooler before using the computer.

Just build it.

 

It'll take maybe 20 minutes to switch out the cooler.

I would build it so you can test all the parts to see if any parts are DOA so you can return it or RMA it asap.

Build it, test it to make sure no parts are faulty and also do a temp test with the stock and then the H100 to show yourself what an improvement it is. :-)

dude it is super simple to just swap the coolers

think of it as an enjoyable test
