Hello,

While I was checking for a pc parts today, I found someone is saying bad things about the MAXIMUS VI HERO which I'm getting for my build (really soon).

What do you guys think of it? Is the GIGABYTE U3DH better than it? I'm using water cooling if that helps.

If you think its bad, what other motherboard that offers same/additional features for about the same price?

Thanks all in advance.

Could you link me to the review? The Hero is much better than the UD3H but the UD3H has better Value for the dollar. One board that is about equel to the Hero is the MSI MPower MAX http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=84071

I didn't believe this review because I saw on a newspaper that ASUS is one of the best motherboard makers, specially Republic of Gamers (ROG).

I was looking at your part list from another post and it seems you don't know much about Dollar>Performance (No offence). Post what you have now and help you out.

I would go with Asus Z87-A or Asus Maximus VI Hero.

The ROG board is pointless if he isnt overclocking much

has better sound and ethernet than the Z87-A, and gaming features.. For overclocking they're almost the same..

and the color scheme is much better.

It is a "baby Rog" board, more cheaper, but with the good Rog featues

The G45 Z87 Gaming has about the same sound, Better ethernet, and good gamign features. As for the features the G45 doesent have you can get software for free and do about the same. For overclocking as I said if he isnt overclocking much he doesent need a ROG but you dont need a ROG board if you want a high overclock.
