I've always like the Asus DCu cooler design lol

My dad has the a card with the MSI twin frozer cooler and it's also a beast with temps

Not asus, they need to get their customer service shit together. Its like you have no warranty because they never help you, dont get an asus gpu as if it breaks then your on your own. Anyways i think Asus has screwed up way more times then MSI with many DOAs and not putting coolers on properly. I think MSI and Evga are better because you dont run that risk and they both have decent coolers. This comes from a guy that has had three broken DOA Asus products and hasnt got shit back from Asus as they blamed me twice and then the other time they told me to contact the vendor and the vendor wanted me to contact Asus and now i think my email is spam to them. Im never buying anything from Asus again, they bother me a lot.

The only brand nvidia card I would buy is MSI; unlocked voltages, military class components, enhanced PWM design, one of the best coolers there is. No question, go with MSI any day.

Coil whine on most of their cards, locked voltages on some newer cards (660ti for example) I would take these into account before instantly recommending msi. Most of the big companies that make custom coolers use improved components, so military class 3/4 is not such a big deal. No hate, just trying to give another POV

Well first of all I have never had a MSI card that coil whined or for that matter actually even heard/spoken to someone who has. Second the MSI power edition and above cards all have unlocked voltages (yes that includes the 660ti so I don't know what you are talking about there). My buddy actually has his MSI 660ti on stock volts with a OC of 1375mhz on the core and 1750mhz on the memory, which is proof they use wayy better components than other companies. Please get your facts straight before you "give another POV" as rumors spread quickly in the tech world, especially on LTT where there is a larger percent of younger people on the forums.

Edit* not saying that there hasn't been people who have had a MSI card that has coil whine but I bet it wasn't the card causing the coil whine it was the power supply they were using causing coil whine.

That's odd, my experience with Asus has been good, My gtx 560ti stopped working when I moved it from one computer to another, few emails back and fourth then we couldn't find out the problem and they told me to ship it back to amazon and I got a refund was pretty happy.

I dont think its my fault either, i tried to be polite, im not aggressive with my computer and I was way too scared to overclock with the products before until know and to have 3 DOAs and not get a refund. Its a slap on the wrist for Asus, never buying from them ever again.
