So I was playing Project Cars (I got into the early preview when they were crowd-funding) and I finished a race and I back out to change cars all while I was using my Xbox One controller now here is where it gets weird; i can move in the menus with the controller then I go back into a race and then I can't do anything.

So I tested another game Geometry wars didn't work at all same with Driver: San Francisco so I try my other xbox one controller still doesn't, tried them on my xbox and they work fine, so i change the USB lead, i try every USB port and still nothing.

I then try to troubleshoot and it prompts me to plug it into a USB 2.0 slot and I had, so then I go to the test screen for the controller to see if it recognizes the input which it does.

So I then uninstall and delete all related drivers including any human interface devices and then re-install them and they still don't work, I let the pc install the drivers itself and it still doesn't work.

Can anyone help me I have been searching for a solution for the past 3 hours I really need help

PC Specs if they are helpful:

OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

Cpu: i7 4790k

Ram: 16gb

Mb: msi maxpower ac
