My 780's aren't hitting the GPU boost clock for some reason, even though temps are perfectly fine,

anybody know why? I've overclocked them a little bit, (shouldn't be effecting them because temps are still well under the temp target)

oic, that makes more sense. So bf3 single screen ultra only puts em at 966mhz instead of the 1200 i've oced them too :(

Heya,

When you run cards in SLI. The GPUs will never hit full load (due to SLI profile configurations), because of this GPU boost might not hit it's max target as the GPUs aren't actually hitting full load.

Please explain to me, what insane 4k resolution with 16k texture mods with 64x AA you are running to actually need them to boost?

(Obvious extreme hyperbole but you get my point xD)

Console optimisations and how they will effect you | The difference between AMD cores and Intel cores | Memory Bus size and how it effects your VRAM usage |
How much vram do you actually need? | APUs and the future of processing | Projects: SO - here

Intel i7 5820l @ with Corsair H110 | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 1600Mhz | XFX Radeon R9 290 @ 1.2Ghz | Corsair 600Q | Corsair TX650 | Probably too much corsair but meh should have had a Corsair SSD and RAM | 1.3TB HDD Space | Sennheiser HD598 | Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro | Blue Snowball

People could be running 3 monitor setups. If I had 780s they would be worked .. My 580s are capped out for some time now

I'm dumb, I thought whenever they were being used during a game they'd boost the entire time to allow the max performance possible when temps are fine,  but if they dont need it they dont boost.
