For more options, decide if you want Dual Band (5+2.4Ghz) or only 2.4Ghz, what speeds do you want to achieve. Also very important, depending on how far you are from the access point you should choose an adequate card.

 

Personally I wouldn't pay more than $50 USD for a wireless card.

You don't want a USB WiFi dongle if you care about range or signal strength.

 

You want a PCIE WiFI card that supports dual band 5GHz N series at the least. They're around $20 and awesome. Tri band is kind of  waste of time for all but the most congested condominiums.
