I'm disassembling my laptop to clean fans the usual but when I try to remove the keyboard its stuck and difficult to remove without a lot of force. I believe one of the pins I guess any tips removing it? thanks

Unless you have a giant dust bunny in the fan shroud, you should be able to blast short burst of air into the exhaust to clear it up. Make sure you burst the air, otherwise the fan will spin really quickly, screwing up the bearings or the fan controller.

 

If you still want to pull it apart, it looks like the top of the body (part with the trackpad on it) needs to come off before the keyboard. If it's laid out like most laptops, you'll have to get the motherboard out just to access the fan. It'll be a waste of an afternoon if it's not absolutely necessary. If the intake grille has wide gaps you could take a couple bent paperclips and pull dust bunnies out without disassembly.
