This one helped me out, it is basically the same thing one your setup, I just finished overclocking my 4690k to 4.5 @ 1.2 voltage.

Ok, I see. So 1.3 voltage is a bit too much? my current max voltage is 1.316 according to CPUID HW

No worries if its a stable overclock and temps is fine.

the temps has reached out to 77c and I only have played a game for 5 minuttes, no stress tested yet.

If I stress test it, I'm pretty sure the temps will hit over 80c?

really? I thought reaching temps to about 80c was bad for your cpu?

Nope actually many cpus are designed to run over 100celsius but i would not recommend it. as i said eariler i would worry when you hit 90c+ around 80 is fine.

well, in other news: It seems that my temps almost hit 90c, and I'm not ok with that. So I tried to sett the voltage but I've done it wrong  since my HWMonitor still says 1.311v

I did this, but apperently it didnt work.

Ok. Something's fucked. I'm pretty sure your RealTemp program shows that you've achieved 4GHz by increasing your base clock... but your program is not set to do so.

New plan. Screw your AI Tweak. Install Intel XTU and see if that works.

Report back to me.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
