My mom owns a mini lawfirm and just bought a new pc and hired a paralegal to work for her, and she bought the western digital mycloud and had me set it up for her, and she wants it so that she saves both to her pc and the mycloud so the paralegal can open it from the mycloud

How would i go about doing this?

Hey elan2468,

The My Cloud, just like most NASs, can be accessed from both devices in the network and over the internet from computers and mobile devices. You would have to enter your credentials in https://www.wd2go.com/in order to access the data over the internet and the website will guide you to the application from which you can work with the files. In order to work as an administrator and adjust the settings of the device, you would have to be connected to the same network as the WD My Cloud device and enter the device's IP or follow the guides listed in your manual.

What model from the WD My Cloud are you using? How exactly would you like to transfer the data to the NAS and how would you like to access it?

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^
