Hello guys! I just bought an H100i two weeks ago and installed it in Push configuration (Case - > Rad -> Fans (Push)). However, only now did I watch tons of videos (including Linus') and did a lot of research in which I found out that Pull configuration offers the best (easiest) way in cleaning unlike Push or Push/Pull.

Now my question is, 1) how do I install the Pull configuration which offers the most convenient/easiest way of cleaning dust away? (Case -> Fans(Pull) -> Rad) or (Case -> Rad -> Fan (Pull))?

2) What's the difference between the 2 Pulls (the choices)?

If it can help, my case is Fractal Design Arc XL. No plans on doing Push/Pull. No problem with temperature differences. I just want to know the easiest way of cleaning the radiator. Thanks!

Too vague. Which part specifically are you talking about cleaning?

I don't see how pull or push is easier to clean than the other.

I unscrew the rad and fans whenever I want to clean them.

The fan can be wiped by hand. For the radiator I blast it with canned air.

By the way welcome to the forum. Please remember to follow your threads.

I just want to know the easiest way of cleaning the radiator.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyC3lZ5WFMk --> Linus explains how easier it is to clean in Pull rather than Push. Specifically, during 5:20 onward. He recommends  (Case -> Fans(Pull) -> Rad).

However, this goes back to my original question: What's the difference between (Case -> Fans(Pull) -> Rad) and (Case -> Rad -> Fan (Pull)) in terms of cleaning?

Thanks for the welcome.

exactly the same ... I hold the fan blades in place and give them a burst of air before wiping them down though

Ok I see what you mean now. Linus basically explains that if your radiators are exposed (as they are in a pull configuration) then it will be easier to clean, because you wouldn't have to unmount the fans if it was in a push configuration.

If you remove the radiator and fans anyway, then having push or pull will not make a difference in ease of cleaning.

Firstly, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Pull that Linus is talking about as the one easier to clean is the (Case --> Fans(Pull) --> Rad) right?

Secondly, (Case --> Rad --> Fans (Pull)) is ALSO a pull configuration but NOT the one Linus is talking about right?

Thirdly, your statement " if it was in a push configuration." got me a little bit confused. Was it supposed to be pull?

Thanks for answering my three questions.

No. That is a push configuration. It is not the one Linus was talking about.

Okay thanks for answering my questions. Though I found out that (Case --> Rad --> Fans(Pull)) is ALSO a pull configuration although it is indeed NOT the one Linus talked about.
