Hey all! I am currently working on my International Baccalaureate degree and my research project revolves around the importance of instructions when building something. I am looking for stories of what happened when you or someone you know did not use instructions when building something, thanks a ton!

I'm an IB student.... please send help, I can't escape!

IB is nice but super annoying.. Being a student in it is the most frustating thing ever when their leveling system is so annoying to follow.

So in that case. EVERY IB PROJECT EVER!

No one in my school follows the instructions/guidelines when building/doing their presentation/project., We all end up with like 3-4's sometimes even 5 and 6's If we're lucky.

There have been some times when I didn't use instructions to build something like a chair and have left over screws and stuff only to have it fall apart on me when I'm using it.

  • 4 weeks later...

I wish I had a story to share about not following directions, but I'm one of those weirdos that always reads the user guide.  Shit, most of the time I even read software and services' license agreements.  :-/

I'm afraid I'll screw something up and what I'm getting won't work right.  Taking a few extra minutes to read the disclaimer helps me feel better.... and more informed.

No humancentipad for me.
