Wifi problem with ipad

I have an ipad 3rd generation and lately the i cant get a stable wifi connection. I can usually only get about one minute into a youtube video before it drops out.

I have tried resetting the network connections on the ipad and it didn't help. I am pretty sure its not my connection because i have a lot of other things connected by wifi and they all work fine.Anyone got some other things worth trying before i give up and get a new tablet.

Try restarting the Ipad or doing a hard reset sometimes it can solve the problem, as for networking do you happen to have a lot of other network signals nearby, it can affect it's stability.

Hi. By hard reset do you mean restoring it right back to factory settings?

Not factory, just hold down the power button and the home button until the screen goes black once it does you can let go and it will restart.

Hmm. I just noticed the problem seems to be mainly within the YouTube app itself. If I watch a video within chrome it seems to be ok?

I will try to reinstall the YouTube app tomorrow and post back.
