Display not working, Help!

Hi!

I have a problem with my displays. My primary DVI display works just fine. But I didnt have another dvi port so i could plug in my older vga monitor that I just want to use to monitor temps, voltages, clocks etc.  So I did a hdmi to dvi to vga, And windows, or maybe AMD Radeon Driver is not having it at all. Is there anything I can do? The monitor is not even turning on!

Edit: the secondary monitor has a dvi port too, but I dont have a spare dvi cable, And I am seriously broke.
