Can someone explain the me the difference between these four different cards.

GTX 980 EVGA

GTX 980 EVGA Superclocked ACX 2.0

GTX 980 EVGA ACX 2.0 FTW

GTX 980 EVGA Classified

They all seem to be about the same price except for the classified which is ridiculously expensive.

I plan on getting two of them for SLI.

The SC is just higher clocked out of the box. The FTW edition has 8 Power Phases and custom pcb. That means you cant but reference waterblocks on. The FTW also has a dual bios which allows for "safer" bios hacking for higher overclocks. The Classified has a completely different pcb and has triple bios. LN2, DICE, and air. The Classified also has 12 power phases.

IMO I wouldn't get the 970 since I actually use more than 3.5GB vram.

I would go with the FTW (im getting 2 for SLI) over the classified unless your going to bios hack it for extreme overclocking. Ftw gets a good OC without the enthusiasts price point.
