Resolution Issue Help?!

Go to solution Solved by itsmyjobtoknow,

No, how would I re-install them?

Yeah, I have tried rebooting. No help. :(

Normally what I would do is go to the control panel and uninstall the Nvidia Graphics driver and all the Nvidia non-sense stuff.

Reboot

And re-install the drivers.

Hi, whilst I was installing the Nvidia driver(version 347.52) my screen went black for around 5 seconds. When it came back on, the resolution/sharpness of the monitor is significantly worse. Albeit, I'm using a old TV 'till my monitor comes however it was much better before the update. When I change the resolution on windows or on Nvidia Control Panel, everything gets out of line and crazy.

Am I missing a driver for my GPU? Or something else? Thanks :)

what resolution is it defaulting to? what are you manually trying to set it to?

Have you tried rebooting the computer after the update? and have you tried just unplugging and plugging the display cable?

When in doubt, re-format.

Thanks:)
