Dedicated PhysX card

TheStewart1995
Go to solution Solved by Godlygamer23,

It would be pointless to do that. The 780 has way more than enough power to run PhysX, and the 660 Ti would only cause unnecessary power consumption.

Quick question, i have a GTX 780 as my main GPU but i have a 660Ti which was my old card just sitting in its box.

Would running my 660Ti as a deticated PhysX card in my system give me any performance increase?

Ok thanks, just wanted to know if there would be any real point in it.

That would probably result in an even greater performance loss. It's not even worth it.

Search the forum. No its not worth using a dedicated card.

There is no point in running a dedicated physx card barely any games use it and in most cases it will make you main card perform worse.
