Hello, i want to upgrade my air cooler and i wanted to get your opinions before i do, i want to cool a AMD FX-4100 and be able to over clock a little(no over volting, just changing the cpu ratio) however i do plan to upgrade it in the semi near future so, i was looking at http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0068OI7T8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLEbut i wanted your opinion,  cost isn't much of a problem but if its possible it would be nice to keep it in the same price range however if it's much more it shouldn't be a problem.

The Pure Rock performs similarly and is quieter: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/be-quiet-cpu-cooler-bk009

Not really looking for silence, my pc is already pretty loud because i haven't botherd to concentrate on silence however this is my final version of my rig, i'll be making a new water cooled one soon which i'm gonna try to make silent

Have you figured out what the loudest parts of the system are?

No, never botherd because it was a tight budget build that i didn't expect to last me as long as it has and i really want to start with water cooling so i'm thinking of saving up and just building a really decent water cooled system instead

If you're going to be striving for silence, you're still going to have to figure out which parts are making the noise.

Yes but i wouldn't have to find out what is making noise in this system because i'm only going to be reusing my mass storage drive, my ram and my dvd drive so i wouldn't need to find out what is making noise in this system and i just need to make sure everything for my new system is quiet
