Technic Launcher

Hey guys, so basically my friend got me back into technic launcher and I want to make a server. So I've looked online for tutorials, and then I tried downloading the server. But instead of downloading a .rar file like usual, it downloaded a .zip file. Can anybody help me out?

Open the .zip the same way you would do everything else. 

ok but what would i do after i open the .zip folder?

what would I do/run

Run the start.bat/.sh or make your own.
