Hello

So I've been having problems all night.

It started when I wanted to dual boot Linux. Ended up running chkdsk, took a few hours before it dumped me at a black screen with only my cursor. Restarted a few times, ended up repairing it with Windows disk. "fixed" it, and now whenever I boot up, no "Windows is Loading", just motherboard logo, than light blue screen. Not the blue screen of death, more like this color.

After about a minute or so it restarts and does it again.

(Windows 7 Pro 64bit)

I've never heard of this problem.

I imagine a fresh install of Windows would fix the problem.

If you have the recovery disk, boot to that and try running Startup Repair.

Can you post a picture of it?

Then try booting to the recovery disk, accessing CMD and using

BOOTREC /FIXBOOT

There are a few others that deal with booting, depending on what the issue is. You can also try

BOOTREC /FIXMBR

I'm not sure, but this may remove the boot option for Linux, but might repair your Windows boot.
