Ok so I was unsure where to put this as I'm new to this forum so I'm sorry if I've misplaced this topic :/

I have got a Corsair 760t and was curious as to whether keeping the roof panel on the case would effect the temperatures of the a roof mounted radiator drastically or not. I like the aesthetics of the roof panel being on and I would like to top mount rather than front mount the radiator if at all possible.

I can understand the whole aesthetic part of your dilemma, however if you have to mount it on top of the case it looks like you'll want to keep the top dust cover off due to the air blockage it'll cause. I wouldn't feel too good about leaving fans blowing air out into an area with very little air flow, like into the 760t's roof panel (note I'm going off of pictures -- if there are ventilation holes go ahead and put the radiator up there). If it's possible i'd recommend placing it at the front with air flowing towards the back of the case, or if it's only a single rad you could mount it at the back of the case with air blowing out the back.

Well, i keep it off. I have my Rad mounted on the top. Idle temps are not really affected, but under load it adds almost 20 degrees.

What you can do, which i have not bothered to even try as i do not care, is getting screws that have a large top.

That way there is a gap through which air can escape.

Though, with my H100i mounted in the top in push/pull with the stock fans, i can hardly hear the thing a few feet next to me on the same level as my screens so...
