Gimp texturing help

I just made a texture for wood that i really like and i am trying to texture the floor for my art project with the texture. How can i do this? Btw the texture & srt project are in gimp.

youd have to use shift+P, or tools>transform tools>perspective, and crop it onto what the floor should be like this:

and then just cut out your objects with F, or the free selection tool on the left hand side like this:
