Hello all, I have been thinking about switching from online hosting of my Tekkit Classic (Modded minecraft) server to a home hosted option, yes I understand that there are many things to consider when doing this, I've been doing stuff with servers for quite a while now, and am fully aware of the risks and issues that can result from this.

On average my server is only getting around 8 people or so on per day, and will sometimes get upwards of 15 players on a good day.

Currently my server has the following: 2GB of RAM allocated, 10GB of SSD storage allocated (Samsung 830 pro), Intel E3-1230 v2 or newer.

What I am looking at going for with the server build:

- Costs less than $350

- Small form factor

- High single threaded performance (At least 2 cores)

- 8-16GB of DDR3 1600Mhz (or higher) RAM

- 2x 32GB SSDs or 1x 64GB SSD (I'd prefer to go with two so I can run them in RAID 0, and will throw a HDD I've got laying around in there to use for backups)

- Able to handle the Tekkit Classic server, a Teamspeak III server, and possibly a 2nd minecraft server.

Now for what parts exactly I would need for it:
CPU, MOBO, RAM, Case, PSU, SSD.

The cheaper the build is, the better, though I would like it to still be of decent quality, especially the ssd(s).

To those of you who say this is not possible, It is very much so possible if done correctly.

(I am able to find parts for this myself, I am just interested in what you guys suggest for it)

I run a G3258 with the stock cooler at stock speeds for Minecraft and Minecraft-based servers. If you'd like, I could consider doing testing to see if all would work well with TS3 and 2 instances of MC.

As for anything else, I'd make a parts list but I must go to bed.

Yeah, I was planning on most likely going for the G3258 as its pretty much the best option for something so low priced.

If you could do that testing and get back to me on how it does that would be amazing :P

Definitely, I'll probably have some time tomorrow.
