These are the specs for a Mac Pro (Bucket).

Proc: 2.7GHz 12-core with 30MB of L3 cache

Ram: 64GB (4x16GB) of 1866MHz DDR3 ECC

HDD: 1TB PCIe-based flash storage

GPU: Dual AMD FirePro D700 GPUs with 6GB of GDDR5 VRAM each

Now do you guys think that I can get something similar like this cheaper than what Apple is selling it for? And if so what do you recommend? I am also open to something comparable if I can't get the same things. I mean I believe it was $7000 for the set up and that was including a discount.

It is possible. Do a search on newegg for the components... it's very doable, especially if you're okay with settling for consumer-grade parts.

My first question before I help you out... why do you need a system like this? What's it for?

The projects never end in my line of work.

Video editing as well as some light gaming. I'll be mainly playing games like blade and soul with the occasional day z and evolve. But it will be mainly for like I said video editing, graphic design and web development

Video editing: 1080p, 4K? Adding effects? What application are you using?

You could build a much more effective system for about half the cost if it's light video editing.

Mainly 1080P will be using adobe creative suite you know Premiere, AE, PS ILU FLASH. Know that i read it this might be overkill. I want to buy a computer that i can do all those thing and i dont have to worry about replacing anything for quite some time.

Duplicating the Mac Pro specs is possible, but the cost will not be that different.

But I suspect all that cpu power is not really needed. Something like an 8 core cpu is likely going to provide more than enough performance. GTX 980 gpu will actually do quite a good job in CS with the advantage of being excellent for gaming.

SiriusPR, I assure you, you won't be gaining anything more by going the route of super expensive up front. You'd be much better off getting something like brob linked, and upgrading a year and a half sooner. It's much more effective.. But as someone who uses it daily, creative suite is not THAT insane on usage, especially at 1080p.

If all I was doing is premiere, I wouldn't have the workstation I do. And I assure you, you'll be much happier with that system he linked you. Plus you can actually game on it, where you'd be having huge problems with the Mac Pro on newer games.

I should ask.. Is it professional video editing or just something you do for fun? If it's the latter, spending even that much is overkill for you.
