Fraps video problems

Hi LINUSTECH FORUMS! I am back again with me needing some much needed help, so I record all my gameplay on fraps but for some reason when I have a look at playback everything is stuttery and bad,I have a whole setup of my fraps for picture evidence, now when I record gameplay in full size it turns out like I have noticed but when I record in half size everything works like normal. Now you are probably saying to yourself just use half size. But I do not like the quality and I like the full 1080P recording, does anyone have a solution, if so please reply or PM me, thanks. Oh and my specs are:

 

Processor: AMD FX-8350 Piledriver 4.0 GHz standard clock speed 8 core processor.

 

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3

 

Memory: 32GB G-Skill RipjawsX Ram (8GB modules)

 

Graphics Card: Asus AMD Radeon 7870 oc

 

Hard Drives: 1TB WD Caviar Black (record with WD CAVIAR BLUE 320GB)

What do you use to playback the video wtih? Windows Media Player stutters when playing such large files (for me atleast).

 

Try VLC or Quicktime.

I'm going to link you to a piece of software called Open Broadcaster Software.

It is way WAY better than Fraps, doesn't degrade your in-game fps and has a lot of options.

Check it out, I've been using for a while now & it is great.

 

-Have it save to a file which will cause it to save the gameplay to a file which you can edit & upload.

Thanks for the recommendation, and I use VLC, I gave up with WMP years ago.
