My possible builds

Currently i have 2 buils set out that im willing to make, one of them is on the am3+ socket and the other on the lga 1150 socket. They are exactly the same except i would save just under £100 going for am3+ as the fx 8350 is much cheaper than the i5 4690k. This build is for gaming so my question is, is it worth the extra cash to get the i5?

CPU-i5 4690k 4.4ghz @ 1.190V, MOBO-MSI z97 gaming 3, Cooler-hyper 212 evo, GPU- r9 290x asus directcuII (-37Mv), Storage-120gb v300(switching soon), 1tb caviar blue, CASE-Red/black h440, PSU-Antec TPC 650.

everything I've reasearch on before building my Pc was all pointing to the i5 for gaming. 

 

I went with the i5 and everything on ultra is a really good feeling.
