My computer crashes while playing games. Help?

Go to solution Solved by Altecice,

go back to driver 14.7

Just recently, my PC has had a tendency to crash only during game play. It only happens sometimes and usually after about five minutes. The screen goes completely black, and the audio loops continuously until I hard restart the machine.

Does anyone have any suggestions or possible solutions?

Thank you for the help!

Sounds Like a Graphics Driver Problem. You can try manually updating them from the manufacturer website.

List your System Specs including overclocks and sli/crossfire

Might sound really dumb, but if it was a GPU driver or hardware problem, wouldn't it happen every time? Not just sometimes?

Also I re installed the drivers and the same issue is still occurring. Could it be a motherboard issue?
