I'm building my first pc and i was originally going to get a 970 (or equivalent r9 300 if they are out before my build) and then sli another later as i will be running a 1440p monitor when i realized i could save £50 going mITX but i would lose the ability to upgrade later. So how much more would i realistically get out of another 970 and would it be worth it? i may upgrade to a rog swift in the future as i play a lot of source games. thanks.

If you are gonna be doint serious 1440p gaming id get 2 if you can afford it. 1 970 can do it, dont get me wrong, but there is a difference for sure.

Something i personally find interesting is a 295x2 in a mITX system. If i had the money id go that route, just for the sake of a freaking fast but small pc. Problem is you really need to watch out what case you get cuz of heat.

Also, no gsync with amd, so would suck if you have an rog Swift or any Other gsync monitor
