Hello everyone, i heard when i put my PC to sleep only my CPU is working but not GPU so GPU is not using any power.. It's turned off?

So if my PC is doing idk, something that takes time transferring 100GB or Uploading video for example and if my PC is as sleep it well keep transferring files, only my screen will be black and GPU wont be working? (It will be turn off)

If you put the pc to sleep everything will stop working, including the cpu. The only difference from "off" and in sleep state is that in sleep the ram keeps the data of what you were doing so the system can restart from that point. So if you start copying something and you put it to sleep the transfer will pause if not straight up fail.
