How about having outside unit to use whole room water cooling?

How about using different liquids in combination with computer-controlled flow?

How about inventing standard plugs for portability for external better cooling of a device? (Laptops, Desktops)

I'd like to see Linus trying outside unit connected to whole room liquid cooling.

What do you mean by outside unit?

This is kind of what they already have, all of the heat is exhausted outside of their house/office. ]

And for different liquids, they put some antifreeze in :P

Standardizing would be cool, but would be very expensive to have the parts and the loop, just for some better cooling. Air cooling is already pretty good and a much cheaper/easier method.

would be cool though :P

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?

Outside unit, i think of air conditioning outside unit. Like room cooler. They have a custom unit, not so efficient (i think).

Different liquids, like those used by air cooling systems...

standardizing like Plug 'N Play :D

Ahh i see what you mean, although getting this too cool, would cause condensation, which would be pretty bad in a computer, or a house! :P

I they're system is plenty efficient imo. Edzel, their editor, put some temps out, and his monster 12 core Xeon was at 32 degrees C. at full load! ;P petty good if you ask me ;)

It would be awesome to see a freon system :P get the pc nice a d chilly, haha. I would love to see a plug and play system! would be great, especially for laptops!

This is why I said "computer-controlled flow"... like the cpu would controll how much cooling does it need using information from sensors. I think like a valve that opens more if cpu goes 150% load :))

I have always been intrigued in cooling the coolant of a watercooling rig by placing the radiators in a cold flowing mountain river. I heard something about google doing this for a data plant but using a mountain stream for cooling would be awesome although you could run the risk of condensation. IDK if you can prevent condensation by dehumidification but it would be cool to find out.
