Wondering if anyone has every used a cloud for storing games and then playing the games off the cloud's drives? has anyone ever attempted this and if so what was the load times like?

> asking cause we have 6 pc's always connected at home and it drains alot of the internet quota to update all the games (thank you aussie internet and your caps)

You mean on the local network? I did this over gigabit ethernet and worked quite well for me. The load times can be a little slow.

Yeah on a local network, got a 10 port router and all the pc's are connected via that.. was just curious :P i mean if you stuffed some ssd's or high rpm drives i suspected it wouldn't be to slow

I just used a 1TB WD Black Drive. Remember 1 Gigabit is only 125 Megabytes and my WD drives can run provide over 200 MB/s read.  So if you you a drive that can fun faster it will most likely get bottlenecked by the bandwidth.

Yeah would have to be a 10gb switch maybe and those get expensive
