Fan controller going nuts

Go to solution Solved by Juan Remes,

First of all try running each one of the fans directly to your PSU, make sure its not a fan problem rather than a controller problem, if all your fans run 100% all the time from the PSU without speeding up or slowing down then yes, its a problem with your fan controller. Make sure you read the controller´s manual and that you are not exceeding the voltage or amperage supported by the fan controller. Identify which fan slows down and speeds up and then disconnect another fan, see if it still behaves the same, ask the manufacturer if this behavior is ok and if not ask for a RMA.

I bought recently a NZXT Sentry 3 fan controller and hooked up 5 Noctua NF-A14 Industrial PPC 3000 PWM. The problem is that i can't run them at a constant speed. For example, they are all set at 40% RPM (via the "link" feature) but u can hear some of them randomly speeding up or slowing down (just a tiny bit) resulting in a very annoying noise. Already tried runnig a power cable only for the controller's molex. The PSU im using at the moment is a Corsair RM1000 (just in case it helps).

Cheers guys
