I have just built a new PC with 4790k, 970 STRIX, 16gb Vengeance pro, and now am faced with the problem that my monitor is ages slower than my PC.  My monitor is a 24" Acer G245HQ 1080p, it has a refresh rate of 60hz and a 5ms response time and its isn't an IPS panel either. So I diffidently need an upgrade, I'm mainly a gamer but I also do some photography, video editing, and some streaming. I would prefer a dual monitor setup but any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for taking a look at the post.

I use and love the Eizo Foris fs2434-bk. Super thin side and top bessel so gr

Great for multi monitor setups. Its a 60hz ips monitor 1080p w 5ms response. I find it running super smooth even in games. And colors are amazing!

No ghosting and such whatsoever, but i believe its a bit pricy in the us. Still worth evry penny in my oppinion

I suggest the BenQ GW2765HT or the Asus PB278Q. Those are 1440p monitors, and if you can afford them, you won't regret. Your GPU has the power to push that high res.

Lol i believe the eizo monitor is not even a lot cheaper than those xD.

O well didnt want 1440p anyway. Im good with 1080p and my hardware will be able to support that longer than it would support 1440p without upgrading.

Not that my pc is bad, it could run it very well.
