Hey guys, I recently purchased a chromecast to hook up to my tv but whenever i go to stream to it, the button wont appear on my device. This is odd because it was working just fine before but now as I said, the stream button disappeared.

Brian May is a rocker. He just does it with style.

Make sure that you have wifi enabled, I've made that mistake a few times.

Also, opening the Chromecast app on your phone does help if it's not detecting.

Give those a try and let me know!

Do you have two wireless signals? e.g. 2.4 & 5.0? Make sure they are on the same one. Mine wouldn't work unless I had them both on the same frequency since apparently that splits the networks.

It shouldn't, but it did for me.

For my pertinent links to guides, reviews, and anything similar, go here, and look under the spoiler labeled such. A brief history of Unix and it's relation to OS X by Builder.

It doesn't matter, they are networked together. My devices are all on AC, and the CC is on wireless-N, but they all work together.

@Vitalius correction... it SHOULDN'T matter. :P
