Overcooked. Bleck. Good bacon is thick cut and cooked low and slow. Crispy does not signify done. Crispy means you've overcooked it and all the juices have gone away. Color change and firmness indicate done. If you get those ridges and the bacon stops laying flat, then either you have the heat too high or the bacon itself is too thin. Good juicy bacon is amazing. Overcooked crispy bacon is cooked too fast and tastes meh compared to properly cooked bacon.

 

As a side note, that picture is someone doctoring bacon to make it look good then throwing it into a pan, not someone actually cooking it.
