I'd like my input on what I should keep and what I should change. The 4690K  is staying but I'm not too sure about the GTX 960 because of the VRAM. I think I grabbed a good mobo but entirely unsure about the case. I want to keep the cost of the case around $50 and i love clean looking cases such as the corsair 550d and fractal design R4/5 but right now they're out of my price range. Thanks in advance guys!

What's your price range? It looks solid to me though! I would suggest grabbing a PSU with higher wattage--I'm getting the impression that you're building this rig with the intention of upgrading in the future. A 650 or 750W would allow you to have GTX960's in SLI.

Edit: If you aren't thinking of upgrading any time soon then disregard that PSU comment :P

For only ten or so more dollars you could get an R9 280.

Edit: Or even a 290. XFX has a 290 right now going for $219 on newegg with a 30 dollar mail-in-rebate.

I have several Windows 7 keys so that won't be a problem. I'm building it primarily for gaming but I want to do some content creation later on. I've read that CUDA allows Nvidia's cards to outperform AMD cards in Adobe software. (Not sure if thats true) I've heard bad things about AMD cards such as arriving DOA quite often and terrible driver support, but I've never had first hand experience so I can't be sure myself. I'm not sure if I want to have an SLI rig because of the consequences it has but it could be a possibility down the road. Max budget is around $900.

I hope you like the build. It's crap in the color matching department, but since I went with a non window panel, that's okay. As far as things to change, you could change the RAM for a 2x8 kit for better performance in rendering. The PSU allows for a future XF. In fact, I even gave you a 290x, which should CRUSH the 960 in both rendering and gaming. Anyway, I hope you like it.

Just one note, don't buy that mouse/keyboard. Instead, go to a local store and test ALL the options they have, real life. Sometimes, a cheaper product might have a much better feeling for you, once it's in your hands. In fact, you risk buying an unconfortable product, by going online.
