Ready Boost Actully does stuff...

Im using 8gbs of ready boost 32MB allocation size

on my moms crappy netbook

notebook

1ghz

2gb ram

5200rpm drive

Readyboost amount 8gbs

 

desktop

3.5ghz

6gbs ram

7200rpm drive

12gbs of Readyboost across 2 usb thumb drives with exfat allocaiton 32MB the exfast and allocation are important

First the placebo

both seem snapper

fell smoother

and faster

 

The Facts

Less HDD uses

legit faster opening times

less noise

less pagefile on c: Drive

 

Your opionions on Ready Boost

IF your on a ssd it will never apply to  you xD

I am actually going to try it right now!

Be careful.. When I used it with a Flash Drive I had, it ended up "bricking" the Flash Drive. I couldn't format it and use it as a regular drive anymore. It kept giving me errors during the format process.

Be careful.. When I used it with a Flash Drive I had, it ended up "bricking" the Flash Drive. I couldn't format it and use it as a regular drive anymore. It kept giving me errors during the format process. 

i have a lot of usbs and thier usb 2 and like a 10$ replacement
