Samsung Data Migration

Go to solution Solved by Dave :),

Yes - it's just a SATA (power and data) cradle to USB. So long as you ensure your exisiting OS drive is still connected etc, then you should be good. Remember you will need both Sata data and Sata power internally.

I have just bought a Samsung 840 120 gig SSD. I saw linus's video about it, and that external cable used to connect it to the PC to use the data migration software. Can I still use that software if I connect the drive with an internal Sata cable instead of that samsung usb cable? Any help is greatly appreciated.
