I am trying to record in audacity and it isn't working. (Note, I am starting audacity after I plug in my headset). My headset (see attached) says creative on the side, and it has two lines (one for recording and one for listening). I will make some Gifs for your information. Is there an in line mute on the mic?
Your output sound is muted in the gif, is it recording and you can't hear it?
Does making noise around the mic cause any of the bars next to the recording devices to activate?
Does it work on any other computer if you have another?

can you take a screenshot of device manager under the audio section (and is there a random yellow triangle next to something in there) and also can you screenshot a pic of the following: right click on the audio thing in the tray on the taskbar (like the little pic of a speaker) and click recording devices or whatever and can you screencap that? thanks bro

and lastly a screenshot of audacity.
