check your power connectors on the mobo

hey guys, 

so after really debating mac vs pc for my photo editing i final went with building a PC and went all out and bought

 

intel i7 5820k 3.3ghz

asrock x99 extreme4

crucial ddr4 16g

evga ssc gtx 970 

samsung 850 evo 250 ssd

WD black 2tb

and a 27in monitor 

 

well after putting it together im getting no signal... i put my old card in and same thing i tried diffrent PCI slots ever thing that i can think of any help on whats wrong would be amazing!!!

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

I once spent about 4 hours throwing a hissy fit at my new build why it wouldn't boot had nothing on the screen no beeps (didn't help the mobo didn't have a speaker..)

only to realise I hadn't plugged the 4/6pin cpu cable in the top right of the mobo.. luckily I was the only one around to feel my shame and embarrassment
