I need your opinion

Go to solution Solved by M-ursu,

They look so awesome!

And buy and use anything you want, everything will work just fine.

What do you guys think about the Corsair individually sleeved cables? I have put aside some time, and I might do the sleeving myself on my AX1200i, but I dont feel like spending THAT much time, because I still have a watercooling loop to set up too... Im not gonna complete my rig anytime soon, because i still need to save up more money. I know Im going to have time for my PC because I made sure that i dont have any appointments that day... if I do decide to sleeve my cables, which would probably be the 24 pin, 8 pin CPU, 6+8 pin GPU, what sleeve should I get from FrozenCPU? I will buy all cable sleeving stuff from Frozen, because that is where Im going to buy my WC loop. Are the Bitspower Super dense sleeving any good? If they aren't, can you guys put down some recommendations?

TinyTomLogan did a review on them. The second generation cables for the AX1200(i) series PSU's are apparently pretty nice quality. I'd go for them.

Even over self-sleeved cables?

Even over self-sleeved cables?

Yeah, I'd say so. It removes all the risk of self-sleeving and of fucking the job up. If you know you can do a decent job then I'd say go for self-sleeving, otherwise corsair's individually braided cables will save you so much time.

The Corsair cables are beautiful.

I don't know how they compare to custom-sleeved cables, as I don't have the time or the will to sleeve my own cables.

They're pretty expensive, but if you don't already have the tools I can't imagine DIY sleeving being much cheaper.

Here they are in my rig (phone pics, sorry):

What phone is that? The pictures look GREAT! Well, I am going to go with a red/white/black theme. Should I go with red or white cables? If I go with red, it might overwhelm the colors, I dont have much white, other than my coolant. I think Im going to buy the White Corsair kit. What do you think?

Oooh... Thats not good. Do you think I will have any problems using it in a 900D? I dont expect it to kink that much because of the cable routing options.

Galaxy SIII.  Pretty nice camera but makes the red look slightly pinkish.  Trust me, it's a very nice deep red.

And the 24-pin is sold separately from the rest of the set, so maybe a red 24-pin and white everything else?  Or vice versa?

check with Ensourced Custom Cables.. like Lutro0 a wide variety of colors, schemes

and what not.. experienced and pretty quick turn around.

if you have tons of other stuff to do, let someone else sleeve your cables. by the time

you source the sleeving, pins, tools and what-not use it once, maybe twice your man-hour

pay will be crap.. and your other tasks will suffer, because you still have 30 more wires

to sleeve and then off to the SATA power/DATA cables..
