HD not detected

Go to solution Solved by HirgaLTTki,

Hello to everyone,

I recently build a pc with a P8Z77-VLX2 motherboard and added an SSD and a 1TB hdd. The SSD is correctly detected and my OS is installed in it. However the normal hard drive is not showing, even in the BIOS. I tried changing the slot in the motherboard, with no luck.

The drive clearly turn on, you can tell by touching it. I even tried putting my dvd-writter in the same slot and it worked just fine. The funny thing is that i installed a program called PC-Wizard that detects the hardware in your computer, and it's shown there

Needless to say I installed all the drivers in the motherboard.

Thank you in advance, and sorry for my english (it's not my primary language)   ;)

Hope that this helps you set it up

Man that was quick!

Solved, I knew Linus had the answer  :P  It's my first build and I'm still a little bit lost.

Thank you very much!
