hello i am looking at replacing my 22inch tv that i have been using for my xbox 360 and pc for the last five plus years as it is on its last legs. i have been looking at getting an LG ultrawide one.

so

1. what is the difference between the LG  29UB65 and the LG 29UM65

2. would you recommend either of the 2 aforementioned displays or another option (my budget is £250 or less and i wont be buying until my birthday in july so prices will have dropped by then, hopefully )

thanks for the help.

Really, it's just the stands. Go with what you think looks and does best.

this is probably the only place i'll hang out anymore: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/274320-the-long-awaited-car-thread/

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

Just the stand. The UM has a two position, ugly, pain-in-the-ass stand, while the UB has a height adjustable and rotatable stand.

They go for about the same amount, but it seems like the UM goes on sale more often.

FYI I have the 29UB65, and I dig it.

I have 3x of the UB, 2 at work and one at home, and I love them.

The projects never end in my line of work.
